Hello-
I'm also a big fan of the Smart city car and have considered just what you are doing. But the big question is, once you get it over here to the states, can you get it registered with the DMV? I live in L.A. and I did see one with Texas plates, but I don't know how many hoops the owner had to jump through to get it by safety and emissions regulations and whatnot. Please email me if you figure this out.
