There is no way you can import the car into the US, if somebody does, then not the legal way. Just ask that person in sarasota for the corecct paperwork. Does the car have DOT Stamped Headlights and Taillights--no !, does it have the Vinplate on the dashborad, lika all american cars-->no, it is OBD II compliant and emission tested by the EPA, show me the sticker on the car !! Don't be fooled by those people, if you buy a smart car of this guy then US Customs will be knocking on your door.
