Im very interested in those 'small modifications' which make an eddy current brake a means of transmitting power.. clutch action, but I want to use it as a brake for a motor testing apparatus.
Can anyone help me with the construction of such a device ? would a cylynder within a cylynder approach have merit ? with a coil wound in between the to cylinders, and a third cylinder placed in between these first 2, connected to the motor under test. All comments welcome and any links to 'how to make' sites appreciated.
